INTRODUCTION
Geographical location
- Quang Binh is a southern coastal province in the North Central Coast region, the Central of Vietnam. It borders Ha Tinh to the north, Quang Tri to the south, Khammouane of Laos to the west and the East Sea (Gulf of Tonkin) to the east.
Topography and climate
- Topography: The provincial topography is narrow and sloping from the West to the East. Hilly and mountainous land occupies 85% of the natural area. The total area is divided into specific geological zones: mountainous, hilly and midland, lowland and coastal sandy areas.
- Climate: Quang Binh is situated in the monsoon-tropical zone and influenced by the climate of North and the South. The climate is divided distinctly into two seasons. Rainy season lasts from September to March of next year. The annual average rainfall is 1,500 - 2,000mm. Months with heavy rain are from September to November. Dry season lasts from April to August with the average temperature of 24ºC - 25ºC. Months with the highest temperature are June, July and August.

TIEN SON CAVE
-General: Tien Son Cave is a stalactite castle with the beauty of a fairyland with thousands of stalactites and colorful stalactite columns cascading layer upon layer to create a unified whole.
The total length of the stalactite cave is 980m but visitors can only visit at a distance of 400m from the cave entrance. Going deep inside is a 500m long reef with a depth of 10m which is very dangerous so it is only suitable for those who want to adventure and explore.

THIEN DUONG CAVE (PARADISE CAVE)

-General: Paradise Cave was initially discovered in 1992 by a group of British cavers from the British Cave Research Association. The official announcement of this discovery was only made in 2005, after a Vietnamese resident of Phong Nha-Ke Bang joined the team to search for new caves.During the first exploration, the team explored 5 kilometers of the cave before continuing further, revealing the cave’s actual length of 31,4 kilometers, which is longer than the Phong Nha cave.
